Arsenal Rumoured To Line Up 100mil Duo

Since there is nothing going on in the world of club football the rumor mill has to grind out something to talk about and as it goes, Arsenal has been linked with a sensational double transfer swoop for Juventus duo Dusan Vlahovic and Fabio Miretti.

The Gunners splashed out over £100 million for two seasons straight during the summer as Mikel Arteta overhauled his squad. And in the end Arsenal was looking to secure two free transfers so thinking that they would spend 100mil in January sounds like pure speculation.

The talk is that the Gunners want to pouch 2 players from Juve, in 22-year-old Serbian striker Vlahovic who had been linked with the North London club for several months earlier but he snubbed them in favor of joining the Turin side from Fiorentina back in January.

He has since fired 11 goals in 21 Serie A outings - including four in eight appearances this term. It seems unlikely that Juventus would be looking to sell him and with his performances not being as good as it was at Fiorentina I don't see why Arsenal would want him either.

The other is 19-year-old midfield star Miretti is also allegedly on his wishlist. This one also doesn't make sense, he doesn't fit the bill of the player in the midfield we would like and players like Tielemans and Luiz who have premier league experience and are in free transfers make a lot more sense.
