Flo Finding His Feet In France

It would appear Balogun has finally started to kick off with his 3rd push for more first-team football, he spent two seasons on loan and while the previous one at Boro was okay it was nothing to state that he is ready to push anyone at the Emirates for a starting position, but that could all change as he looks to have found his feet at Stade Reims.

Just like Saliba took his time on loan with impressive performances in France, and then walking into the first team, Arteta is hoping Flor can do the same.

A move to France looking fruitful

Since his move to France, the 21-year-old has already bettered his record from his previous loan spell, scoring four goals and providing one assist in five games.

The Arsenal loanee has even broken club records by becoming the first player to score in their first three matches for Reims since 1975.

Flo has also won two penalties, highlighting just how much of a nuisance he has been for the opposition and what we could expect if he comes back to the Emirates, with him Nketia, and Jesus fighting for the number 9 role.

There's no doubt that Balogun, who is only valued between £3.4m - £6m will be increasing his stock after this loan deal and the shaper he becomes the more he proves he has what it takes to make it at Arsenal.

He showed massive promise with 75 goals in 103 appearances at U18 and U21 level just goes to show the goalscoring prowess he naturally possesses, similarly to Eddie Nketiah he cracked it at the youth level but has yet to really make his mark in senior football, but has secured a long term deal with the Gunners.

I hope he continues this impressive form this season and pushes for a top scorer competitor in France with big names like Neymar and Mbappe.
