A cagey first half against the reds

It's been quite the first half for Arsenal, they've been able to go toe to toe with Liverpool in what has been an admirable performance and we can see that Mikel has begun to close the gap on the big boys. We're not quite there yet but it is positive signs.

I think that there have not been very many clear cut chances for both sides as no team is keen to express themselves and make a mistake, but Martinelli has been a live wire tonight

The second half is now underway and Arsenal have already had 3 chances on goal and have not been able to convert anything which could change what they live to regret with bobby and salah looking to come on for Liverpool.

Arsenal will need to convert one of these chances soon if they have any hope of taking something from this game. Liverpool always look like they can score and if they score first they;ll be happy to set up shop and leave Arsenal to try and break them down
