Arsenal Head Back To Lyon For Lucas Paqueta
Xhaka should be on his way to Roma, should Mourinho remain at Roma next season. His form in the Euros was great and despite a sending off Mikel has stuck with him, but pushed the 29-year-old Swiss captain further forward. Xhaka now takes up a No8 role in recent weeks where he has flourished, where he can do less harm and focus on passing, not that he didn't fuck that up in the previous game.
Arteta knows he needs a replacement and it looks like he is going back to Lyon as Arsenal look to swoop to sign Brazil international Lucas Paqueta.
The ex-AC Milan ace, who moved to France recently is only 24, but he has chipped in with eight goals and five assists in 30 games in all competitions. After losing out on Bruno who moved to Newcastle, Arsenal needs to wrap up a deal soon.
Paqueta - capable of playing as a central midfielder, No10 where Arsenal would be keen to play him, has 3 years left on his deal with Lyon.

It's not just the Gunners in the competition, but also Newcastle and PSG are targeting the player. Paqueta rejected a £180,000-a-week move to the Magpies with the Toon this season so he's not going to come cheap if he joins Arsenal.
Lyon already brought in Ndombele as a midfielder so they have a replacement, Arsenal could go for a double swoop and bring in long-term target Houssem Aouar.
A peace offering to get the deal done could be Alexandre Lacazette who could be heading in the opposite direction with Lyon keen to re-sign the striker.
