Ode Has Big Boots To Fill
Say what you want about Mesut Ozil, but he was one of the best number 10's Arsenal has ever seen and we were lucky to have him as long as we did, he bought some truly magical moments to the Emirates and we were always going to struggle to replace him.
Just as luck would have it another Madrid number 10 who had been frozen out would take up the challenge. The club signed Martin Odegaard on loan from Real Madrid and while he did reasonably well he didn't really set the park alight. He did do enough to eventually part ways with 35 million to secure hi services permanantly.
Odegaard was dubbed as wonderkid but never really had the chance to show what he can do at the highest level. He had been carrying the weight of expectation on his shoulders since he was 15 years old.
Arsenal was the first chance he had to get regular starts at a top team and he took it with open arms.

Like Ozil, Ode possesses a wand of a left foot so comparisons would be tough to avoid, but his vision is out of this world. He may not be the finished product yet, but he sure has a great chance of emulating Ozil
He thrives on the pass two touches in advance, he has the technical aptitude and he's got a neat touch and is great to watch on the ball. The weight of hiss is divine by most people's standards, but when it comes to Ozil it falls slightly short.
Something I am sure he will regain with age.
Arsenal may be lucky to have found an heir to Ozil’s so quickly, but can we take advantage of this talent and turn it into trophies remains to be seen.

He looks bright, I think he is a bit more aggressive a player than ozil
Yes he is indeed more direct and move movement, but Ozil's vision and off the ball movement is insane
Ozil is one of the best number 10 Europe has seen.
Although when he came to Arsenal, his effectiveness reduced.

In my own opinion , I think comparing him with Ozil is a bit too much size of a shoe for his legs to fit in . Ode still has some improvements to do though even though he is gradually starting to become a key player in Mikel’s tactical plans.
