Roma Looking At Double Singing From Arsenal

Arsenal has let several players go on free transfers and that looks to continue with a few more leaving at the end of the season. Having so many players leave does reduce the wage bill but without income from player sales, it doesn't help build a war chest to purchase new players.

Arsenal has only seen income from Joe Willock with a 25 million return, so trying to get a few players out of the squad for a free is a priority. Roma who took Maitland Niles on loan has claimed that they have 86 million to spend and they are looking to secure him on a permanent deal as he has 1 year left on his contract.

In addition, there are rumors that if Jose remains next season, they could see them reignite their pursuit of former Arsenal captain Granit Xhaka, who many Arsenal fans including myself would love to see move on.

I think the best Arsenal can hope for out of this deal is around 20 - 25 million, which isn't the worst start to building a transfer kitty. Prices of players have started to level off and with the increase in players running down their contracts, it doesn't seem wise to want to spend big to break contracts any longer.
