Could We See A Return Of Serge

If there is one decision that any Arsenal fans would cringe when they think about it, was the sale of Gnabry. At the time, Wenger didn't rate him enough and sided with Joel Campbell instead and he was moved on to Germany. Eventually, after a successful season, he was snapped up by Bayern and has gone on to become one of the best players in the world.

It's been 6 years, leaving as a fresh face 20 year old and since moving to the Bavarian giants, Serge has netted 59 goals and providing a further 37 assists in 153 games for Munich. Helping the team to three Bundesliga titles and a UEFA Champions League trophy.

I think it's safe to say selling him was a mistake and considering the place where in now with a lack of forwards its even more painful.

Gnabry is moving into the final 17 months of his deal with Bayern and the club has failed to offer him a contract that matches his salary demands. Arsenal has gotten rid of Auba and with Laca leaving the wage bill is pretty free to offer an attractive wage and with our history Arsenal has a clear advantage over their Premier League rivals who are looking to secure his services.

If we could bring in Gnabry with the likes of Martinelli, Saka and Odegaard in support, I think we would have one of the most dangerous front lines in the premier league.
