Arsenal have really no shame and have joined PSG in creating a Fan token which they shill on the various platforms like social media! These coins are pitched as a way to vote on meaningless things that happen in and around the club like what song is played when the goal is scored or some stupid thing like that so they can pretend it has some sort of governance
Yet another cash grab Arsenal associating themsleves with some really shoddy platforms and the ASA have told them to stop their shilling of unregistered securities too fans
While these tokens my be labelled as trinkets there is an underdone of possible price appreciation and ofcourse governance which in my mind makes it a security
Arsenal fans could think they have a stake in the club by owning a meaningless shitcoin run by a third party service and is highly centralised
It really is sad to see how exploitive clubs have become all in the name of income
