Going Japanese with Ramen Kuroda
My friend and I went for a Saturday walk which we enjoyed so much that we did not notice it was already past noon time. We felt our hunger only when we paused for a while. Then we asked each other as to where will we have our lunch. We were in the ErmitA area where SM Manila is the nearest mall where we can have lunch so off we went.
When we got into the mall she suggested to have ramen and I thought, why not?
The restaurant was full when we arrived. There is a group of what seem to be a family in queue before us at the counter.
Since it is a ramen restaurant then certainly, their menu is all about ramen. However, there are still different flavors and servings to choose from. There are also side dishes and desserts.
I ordered for Shiro ramen while my friend had Aka ramen. The regular serving is P180.00 (US$ 3.49) but we availed of the additional tender pork with additional cost of P50.00 (US$ 0.97).
We sat down at the waiting area while waiting for any table to be freed up so I had the chance to observe the dining area. It is of black and white theme but presentable and clean.
After few minutes, one of the crew asked if it is okay for us to take the side table because it is what's available. We're hungry so yes, side table is okay!
On the table, I took a shot of this. What caught my attention was the P.S. statement. 😊
Right in front of us is the glass wall to the kitchen so we can watch how their cooks prepare orders. The kitchen is also clean and in proper order.
Few more minutes and our bowls of ramen arrived. Finally!
The soup was superb and the pork was so tender! My friend and I kept quiet and focused on our food. Obviously, we were so hungry. 😃
With P 230.00 (US$ 4.46) cost of meal for each of us, we got out of the restaurant super full and contented. That was when we noticed that the waiting queue is now longer than we arrived. See those sitting and waiting on the left and right side, then those who are standing. Ah, lucky us to have shorter waiting time earlier!

Ramen Kuroda?
I heard it for the first time.
There are Japanese ramen shops overseas as well.
Yes, I'm sure there are many ramen restaurants overseas.
Interesting... (^_^)
