Since my son started practicing this sport, there are many things as representatives that he learned during this sport and in each of the tournaments where he has taken part, it is an arduous job that the coach has to teach the children the techniques of this sport. sport, which requires the players to be quite prepared to play as a team, since this sport is not individual, each of the participants is required to do the work on the court.

I consider that when the children are starting and are going to participate for the first time in a tournament, I guide my son as a representative so that he knows that when they play, it may be that they are going to win or lose, depending on any of these options, I tell him that the idea is for them to enjoy the game, if they win, we celebrate the triumph, and that they should also respect the opposing team with which they will face off.

It should be noted if the team loses, then it is normal for children to feel like crying and feel frustrated for having lost the game, but we must also guide them so that they learn that these are the things that happen in games. In this case, the coach must specify what the weaknesses were and in a next game make the corrections so that they can obtain the victory in another match.

It is necessary to highlight that when the children are on the field, facing another team that has also trained with other coaches and suddenly has more experience, the children can be nervous because they are under pressure because they can do badly in the game, Another factor that can affect them is the presence of their representatives in the game. On some occasions I have seen that representatives offend their children when they are playing and make mistakes on the field. Here is a serious mistake that some representatives make, rather we must motivate our children to do better every day and also to learn through mistakes.

One of the experiences that I lived in the last tournament was when the team could not qualify in the semifinal, due to some errors that happened in the game, because they did not advance in the tournament, one of the representatives left upset because he was not there. agree because their children participated very little in the game. Due to this, he made the decision to remove his children from the team and entered them in another team. This is a damage that causes children because I believe that we must teach to lose and win and also respect the decisions that the coach establishes on the field.

Finally, it is important to guide our children when they practice a sport, teaching them to win and learn to lose without offending them, because if we do this then they will be afraid to participate in any sport where they can lose.
