Ended festiv season; My Actifit Report Card: March 9 2023
Hello guys!
This is my yesterday's actifit report card...
Finally festival season ended yesterday evening. Today it was gazetted holiday here. One day before it was announced by district magistrate that 9th March will be a local holiday otherwise it was only for 2 days holiday on the occasion of Holi. Since morning there was hustle bustle going on in the streets along with roads . First time I postponed my plan to visit my hometown in last 13 year. Like wise on the occasion of festival I used to go my hometown to celebrate the festival with my family.
Before it on the occasion of Holi everyone was free from opening the shop as mostly players are businessman, so decided to play two match between Sadbhavna cricket club and Morning cricket club. These are two teams in which one belongs to senior players and second belongs to junior players. Both the matches were played of 12 overs.
Out of these two matches, one match was won by Sadbhawna Cricket Club while the other match was won by Morning Cricket Club. Both the teams ended the match on par. After the end of the match, everyone applied colors to each other and played Holi with Abir Gulal. Photos were taken in the group to make this moment memorable.
While returning on the way, people were dancing to the tune of DJ at various places. Out of which most of the people had drinks. Although now it is moving forward as a trend which is not good from any point of view. After returning from there, there was a roast chicken and a bottle of beer as a snack.
After that at around 11:00 am, Holi's hood started, which continued till 2:00 pm. Every street, every nook was filled with flying Abir Gulal . By 3:00 pm Holi's all-hood was finished. After 3:00 o'clock, it is time to become a good mannered people. Wearing new clothes and meeting each other to wish Holi is the most enjoyable aspect of this festival.
By the evening it's time to have fun with loved one and enjoy homemade the delicious dishes. Some of them used to cook non veg material and invite the people for party. Although such celebration happens very next day's evening. This time maximum people use beer and other alcohols.
Finally when I finished the day I was physically exhausted. Playing 24 overs cricket match after that meeting with the people and including in Holi festival. Throughout the day this event carry on. Finally everyone go for a proper sleep so that next day can be refresh.
To be honest I enjoyed this festival alot and this festival passed safe and sound without any unexpected incident..

Yes, of course! it is me..
There is nothing special symbol to use colour on the faces, just it is a way to express our happiness. Like wise it is a festival of colours that is called Holi.
There is a mythology behind the festival Holi.
Hiranyakashipu, who was a symbol of evil, wanted to kill Prahlad, a small child who had faith in God, by burning him in Holi i.e. fire. For which he gave this responsibility to his sister Holika. Holika who had got the boon of not getting burnt in the fire accepted the responsibility. Holika sat in the fire with Prahlad. When God saw that evil was going to win over goodness, He made Holika's boon ineffective, due to which Holika got burnt in the fire and Prahlad was saved. In this happiness, the festival of Holi is celebrated every year. This festival is not only a symbol of welcoming spring season, but it is also considered a symbol of color and melody. That's why everyone is having face paint.

Wow didn't expect this long informative response. This is actually the first time I heard of this holiday . At least I learned something new. Is this part of a religion or just everyone in your country celebrates this .
Yes this festival is the part of religion. There are so many religious festival in my country and Holi is one of them that celebrated here with the beginning of month March..
