At home family day - some garden work : April 5 2025

Time for a quiet day - my wife's grandson came to visit quite early. We popped off to shops to get a few things for lunch

We played cars and ribbons and things - he watched a bit of Shrek2

Cooked a few things on bbq - first time doing lamb backstrap. It was super tender and really easy to cook. Young man did not like the seasoning but he liked the chipolatas

Sure is a treat seeing him and his dad.

Left the afternoon free to finish moving stuff back into the hallway - had to clear them for fire inspection. One more weekend of mess in the house as the last carpet will be laid this coming week

Did the weeding in the small piece of garden below our apartment- tomatoes are growing well. Really is a token piece to care for

That was it - a few steps shopping and playing and cooking and gardening. Soon adds up

A quiet day but with great satisfaction, it is always pleasant to spend time with the family, especially with the children. He is really charming and, at least, he likes sausages 😋
