Tiny flower day in Seven Mile beach NP : January 24 2025

Heading into a long weekend for Australia Day on Sunday - makes Monday a holiday. Found out in the morning with an hours notice that we could head down to Shoalhaven Heads fir the weekend. Were on the road in a little over the hour - I packed and drove - made it in time for the 2pm meeting

Ride down to mid-section of Seven Mile Beach NP and walked the bike into the track. Grasshopper posed. Not quite in focus

First photo sets the theme for the day - tiny flowers - yellow-anthered rock lily. A bit of interest in this as it has not been formally named. Most of the sightings are in the Southern Highlands - down the hill for this one

Not the normal pea flower I get used to. Maybe a tricktrefoils - desmodium

First ride in a while. I do like easy access to the bike and the open road - no traffic to bother with
