Summer Gordon flowers and a little music : November 24 2024
Steaming up for a hot day. My wife headed out to meet a friend when I suggested that we could stop at the shop she wanted to visit for a deal on the way to our afternoon music show. No need to go there and back
I squeezed in a walk in the local shady streets to get the steps done - summer flowers - plumbago
Purple agapanthus just emerging
Fabulous bougainvillea display reminds me of my kid days - we had a few at home
White agapanthus
Surprised to find a clivea still flowering
A spring like photo - lilli pilli showing new life, frangipani behind and an old house behind
Not seen this flower before - over a wall
Two old style houses sharing a driveway
Now rendered - they would have been red brick
Red bougainvillea
Yesterday, today and tomorrow flowering
A few roses - orange
Reddish orange
Pink hibiscus to round out the summer flowers
Home in time for a quick lunch and drive down to the shop my wife wanted to visit and then to Avalon where our friend is playing music

Was a busy session - at least 100 people in the club and around the bowling green
