Sydney City visit using the new Metro : November 20 2024

Got a train strike lining up. Moved lunch with my friend a day early to avoid that. Check on the route planner - it said to get the train a few stops and change to the Metro and then back to the train I would have connected with in the city

Super modern station down deep. As I was early got out one station later just one block up from my old office. Chose to walk on a nice day with a bit of a sea breeze

Super modern goes to the seating - not a lot but modern. With trains every 4 minutes do not have to stand long

Walk past the centre of Hyde Park - always a few people enjoying the quiet

The last visit here was a to let sign - well there is now a Gentlemans Club. Fun photo as my friend has had a few arguments with that man in the library. He did not go up

Station goes from old to modern in a few escalators down

Pretty busy but OK to get a seat. Am told the mornings are standing only

Dinner: Chicken curry from a Malaysian spice mix my wife found in the cupboard. Too much pepper - not me
