Indoor day and a Gordon shopping walk : October 26 2024

Was one of those days. The end of the week. Lots of investing stuff to write up. Grey skies. Reached 3 pm and was not even a quarter way to the 5,000 steps.

Yesterday when my wife was pressure hosing the pathways, one of the tenants stepped on the hose and broke it. Gave me an idea to walk to hardware to get a new one and get the steps - photo down one of the access roads - jacaranda is the purple below

A tall tree across the road. Not any old tree. It is a Norfolk pine - this is the tree they used to make shop masts. This one is a baby at only one third taller than a light post

Got the steps in. Did a little horse race betting - reminds me of my grandfather who funded several trips to South Africa that way. I bet a dollar at a time. Did end ahead on the dsy thanks to a few favourites and a few lady jockeys in Adelaide
