Rainy Day walk past Rose Cottage : May 4 2024
Was a grey rainy day all day - not exactly get outside day. Did go to Nowra to do some shopping. Stopped off at Two Figs Winery on the way back to pick up some wine

Did get to pat this lovely dog. She does not like strangers but was happy to talk with me
Went walking later to get the steps up - always looking for a theme for photos. Rose Cottage is just up our street
There were roses - and raindrops - the two tone rose caught my eye

Walked into this small reserve just up the road - not been here before
The birds - magpie and noisy miner like the bug bounty that comes up when it rains
Magic mushrooms - got a feeling these are ghost mushrooms that glow in the dark - also may be edible

Dinner action: Mini tapas - lead dish is Thai fish cakes with the other half of last night's barramundi
White fish chopped and processed. Add red curry paste, fresh coriander, fish sauce, corn flour. Process again to a paste. Then mix in chopped green beans and spring onions. Make into patties and fry
The rest was a mix of dumplings steamed and a few things amenable to airfryer cook. Home alone cook still cooks

When I am on my own I use cooking as a way to wind down and to get on top of the down moods
