Easy enough drive home. We ummed and aahed about stopping along the way to shop. Not long into the shop and my wife bumps into a former colleague - we are out of our local area.
Dinner - Italian meatballs - brown the meatballs
Lay into a thick Mediterranean tomato sauce. Serve with pasta

Small mountain looks lost under the blue skies, green everywhere indication rains have been good. Garden looks happy as must the chef with delicious meal on offer after the day.

I cannot get over the green. They promised us a hot dry summer. Had the opposite. Next trip down I will take photos out of the car window. I see your rep score just passed mine - well done
We have had hot, then hotter with crazy storms in between, last night the crazy 25mm in a couple of hours at least a bit cooler for a day or two again.

Storms aren't funny but mountains are different under certain circumstances and conditions of a place. Lovely photos. You know if I was able to taste that meal I would have be so grateful.
