Orchid repotting day on a rainy day : January 14 2024

A slow start on a dull day. We walked up to local Gordon Markets - one Sunday a month

Spied in the apartment's garden

Markets are set up in the car park of the station - a big open space. Mostly selling bric-a-brac

Came across this book for $2 from one of my friends. I get my daily mantra from the bush and flowers

Skipped the cafe breakfast and cooked breakfast a took home. Been a while since I had a cooked breakfast

We drove out to Dural to pick out some ghost chairs. Chose not to go walking on the way back. My wife was happy to read her book. Two access points - one is leech heaven (no boots) and the other other I walked a few days back

Started to work on orchid repotting - this one looked OK from the outside - orchid bark on the outside. The killer inside is the core of spaghnum moss. Got to get that away

Have this rock orchid - think it is cestichis reflexa - that is outgrowing the tub is in. Split out a few segments to give it space. Am keen to try one out on a log - no bark

Dinner plans: Had some cooked pasta in the fridge. Made it into a macaroni cheese

Served with air fryer chicken drumsticks seasoned with salt and pepper and mustard. Coated with GF breadcrumbs
