Rained a lot overnight and most of the day. Maybe it was a message to take things easy for a bit especially after my son's partner cried off us going to visit them - that is a story for another day. After all the driving back and forth I did the last two days, she cannot give Scarlett's granddad an hour
Rain eased off a little late afternoon - got the umbrella out and walked to the Botanic Garden

Saw this tree from the entrance - went back to get a photo - looks like a grevillea too but not sure
Found this grevillea on the way home
Moods of Coolangatta Mountain - chose to leave the rooftops in the photo to offer some scale and perspective
Intriguing shape to these flowers - almost certainly it is an import - magnolia perhaps
Had a friend over for duck pancakes dinner. Was a good way to wind down from the week's challenges. Entertain the dog mostly
Stayed away from the ugly markets
