Visit to my son is a special day : April 30 2023
Rained most of the night. Plan for the day is to go visit my son and then join a friend for lunch. Got moving not long after 9 to see my son. We were a little early
Drove around his suburb to get a feel for the place. He is on the top of the hill and the roadway drops down to St Georges Basin. Came across the big cluster of wallabies - 10 including the joey

We headed back via Nowra to get a new TV. Got a great deal on a display model. Why rush? Electrician is coming to do some chores tomorrow.
We had a lovely lunch with our friend. She cooked beef cheeks to a Margaret Fulton recipe. Was an important day - first meal cooked for her guests in a bunch of years
Went out walking late to get the steps in - no umbrella needed - looking back to Coolangatta Mountain

The mountain stands over our new place. It will be a landmark of future days.

A little family time and a load of Australian sounding stuff to make me feel like I am taking a trip! Wallabies? Awesome!
It is super special. I was never expecting a grandchild. Then my son bought a house just 30 minutes drive from our new place. We go visit whenever we come down this way
