Family Time and Shoalhaven Heads Time : April 10 2023
Easter Monday breaks to a blue sky day. It is a nice feeling knowing we do not have to wrestle traffic to go home over the long weekend. We are staying a few more days. Instead we are going against the flow to visit my son and my granddaughter
They have been visiting granny in Sydney and the young lady was a bit tired - was fab to see her. I made up an easy lunch of prawns and fresh salad. Prawns were bought at Crookhaven Heads a few days back. The dog was happy to see us
Took a side road on the way back. Got lots of bush to explore for orchids when we move. Did the quick shopping in Nowra - was relaxed in there after a busy weekend
Got on the bike down to the river. Photo up the beach looking north
Quite a few people around - no shortage of fisher folk
This ebike whizzes by in the firm sand just above the wave break line. He did not pedal once. Maybe I will lean that way when we move here but there will be pedalling done

Would be remiss not showing a photo of the Easter decorations. A few pieces of eucalyptus branch sprayed white and some egg hangers bought at the two dollar shop
Feels like a retirement weekend. Saw family. Went back to the peace of the river and the beach.
