Shoalhaven River Details - River and Bush : December 26 2022
The day plan is BBQ with friends across the way - Boxing Day cricket test from Melbourne. Nothing that I hate more than being ribbed around an Australia - South Africa test match.
We started the day with a ride down to the pub for free coffee to make up for the breakfast mess last visit

A few kayaks making their way up the main river segment
Had a good lunch with friends. Ribbing was fine. Fresh seafood and BBQ sausages.
Rather than drink all afternoon I went for a ride to walk the slice of bush alongside the golf course
Hacked through the bush a bit - found golf balls and a variegated hyacinth orchid
Stepped back photo deep in the bush. Made my way to the small track that goes through the bush
Found a few more orchids on that track

And on the way back one just folding out
Walked along the cleared section between the bush and houses - nothing on the edges
The best way to live near the bush - separated by 50 metres of mowed grass
Was a good way to end the holiday effort - orchids and a walk
Spent the late evening setting up an affiliate marketing launch
