Slow start to Queen Elizabeth memorial holiday. A few photos from home - a riot of colour in the rock orchids at home - pink and white - dendrobium kingianum

The grevillea is looking fab after solid rains all summer and a lot through the winter

We are heading north to Hunter Valley for last weekend clear up before settlement on Monday. First stop at friends in Laguna to pick up a trailer. Lovely chat. Cup of tea. Walk around the changes. Trailer hooked up

Stopped on the driveway out to photograph Sydney rock orchid

Only took photos of two colonies - there are many more lower down.

The rest of the day was all about sorting and cleaning boxes of papers, magazines and books. I am challenged doing this - lots of history, like the bank document recording the payment for my share of the business we started, like the before and after financial statements from the Dot Com crash

Also did a lot of cleaning in the outside storage - spiders and dust collected over 16 years. Broke the back of it. My wife did the inside slice.

Dinner: Cheat prawn pots

Trade action: Markets opened drifting down. Added in more hedging trades short on QQQ, TLT, VGK. Credit spreads on AMN, SEDG, RUN - solar power and aged healthcare. The down days are coming but the greenie themes will hit buyers
