Church Point Reprise : September 11 2022

Sky was blue and spirit was down - hard to get motivated to say goodbye to 20 years of history. We had an afternoon commitment in Sydney which gave me a short window to do more garden tidy up.

Drove home before midday with a short spell at home.

Going to see a friend doing a 70s gig - we were early and I had chance to get some photos - Scotland Island

Looking across Pittwater - this road was one of my favourite cycling routes when I lived on the beaches

Jelly fish on the launch ramp - saw a few on the rocks too.

Walked up the hill to the local cemetery and church yard. Church is gone and cemetery is sadly neglected

Jasmine reminds me of the tribute the day before to my dearly departed mum

Did find an orchid - in a garden - red crucifix orchid.

Belting it out - Jasper's Farm and Woodstock. The people in the audience were mostly Woodstock folk

Got that right

And looking across to the water

Was really good to share the time with friends - even though I did cop a full glass of champagne in my lap. Being out - no masks - no check ins = maybe free.

We ate out on a lovely shared seafood plate. A fab way to end an emotional weekend.
