Seven Mile Beach Smashed : April 3 2022

Woke to a sunny blue sky - not seen one of those for weeks. Used the extra hour from clock change catching more zzzz's. Had planned to make an egg and bacon breakfast - only pan was a non-stick pan which is too hard to clean. Plan B breakfast was in the plan.

Drove down to beach to see the storm impact. We call these vygies where I come from. Pig face here. They symbolise beach.

Looking to the south can see the two metres of sand that was dragged away by the storm. That sand will close the river mouth soon.

Seven Mile Beach - good to see a blue sky

We wandered around Berry. It was hanging with people. Good news after all the lockdown stuff. The people have decided on normal - a few masks only.

We inspected our new house. Detail finishing before hand over. View from one bedroom to Coolangatta Mountain - could be my study view.

Headed back to Sydney to catch up with my wife's sister visiting from England. We caught up in the new Marrickville precinct not far from the airport

Was good to catch up with Ingrid on her whistle stop tour from England. The only way I get to see people is if they come to visit. A challenge to get photos - the best was of the girls taking a selfie.
