It rained and it was grey. Never a problem finding stuff to do inside - make review videos was what I did.

Entertainment for the day started out with king parrots. Action shot shows two males contesting territory - yet they will allow the smaller lorikeets to chase them away. Imagine it is a male and fight back.

I pushed to go walking late after doing my video. Raincoat and umbrella and boots

First orchid bud of the day is always a photo opportunity as it may be the orchid of the day. Bonnet orchid budding

Bonza - orchid of the day is bonnet orchid and a new opener this season on this track

Photo work is hard in low light and conscious of attention from leeches

Focused on the new bud

One from trackside shows the clay material they used for the new track. It sure is slippery when wet

The day for cryptostylis erecta

Did find some hyacinth orchids budding hanging in below the track work

We have had a lot of rain. There are 3 waterfalls this size on this creek each dropping 10 metres. I chose not to walk up for close photos - leech heaven

I got my orchid a day. I got my steps in. I got two leeches and a bit wet. I walked back by road and not by fire trail.

Dinner: Prawn/scallop cheat pots plus stir fried rice
