Milan, Leao renewal summit today: rossoneri ready for super offer, Rafa wants to extend

The will of the club and the striker coincides, however, there is to reckon with the Portuguese's representatives who would all like to have a leading role: Rafa's father, the French lawyer and, of course, Jorge Mendes.

MEETING TODAY - This is reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport, which explains that today could be an important day as a meeting between the parties is scheduled at Casa Milan. It won't be a decisive summit, but it will be crucial in directing the end of this affair. To complicate everything there is then always also the well-known issue of the compensation Leao owes Sporting Lisbon (about 20 million euros). The via Aldo Rossi club has already said it is ready to stand by the player both morally and especially financially.

SUPER OFFER - AC Milan wants to keep him at all costs and is therefore ready to put a super proposal on the table to convince the talented Portuguese to extend his contract, which currently expires in 2024. The Rossoneri could decide to offer a super-rich salary, untying the affair from the ongoing lawsuit, or they could give Rafa a hand in paying compensation to Sporting, but obviously at that point the salary proposal would be smaller. We will see what will be the strategy of Milan, which is in a hurry to close this affair and armor its jewel that continues to be targeted by several top European clubs (Chelsea, Psg, Real, City, United, Liverpool).
