Going for the burial ceremony of our brother qMy Actifit Report Card: September 10 2024

Greetings to you, my dear friends in the @actifit community. Happy Wednesday to you all...

It's the 11th day in the month of September, below is my report for September 10th.

On my last report, I stated that we lost a family member in his late 30s, it was so painful because no body knew that he is gonna pass away.

Very early in the morning, I got ready and set for the village because I came back to the city to work on some stuffs. I could have left the previous day but it was lockdown in Anambra state.

When we finally got to the village, I meant them on the burial ceremony, because the vehicle that I entered wasn't fast enough to my liking.

The priest were conducting the service in a liturgical way because we are all Anglican. Seeing the coup's of our brother at that from of our compound, I wept in my heart. Grief was all over me, I couldn't stay more minutes to see the casket because my heart was so heavy.

When is time to lay him down, we didn't see the Ambulance guy and his vehicle that was supposed to carry the coup's to the burial ground. We started calling he wasn't picking, so we decided to carry the casket on our shoulders and take it to the burial ground that was a little far from the house..

When we got there, he was lowered down to the mother earth, we all wept as we gave him the last respect.

Coming back home, the musicians started calling playing there music as usual but I couldn't dance on like my normal self...

I just went inside the house to stay with the little children and we watched cartoons together because that was the only thing that could make me fill alright at that moment.

In all, we thank God for all that he has done and may the soul of our beloved brother respect in perfect peace 🕊️🕊️🕊️✌️✌️, Amen.
