Liverpool blow their Chances to take the 2nd position

Liverpool slumped to 2-3 defeat to Westham in the round 11 of the English Premier league 2021-2022 season at London Stadium. Liverpool blow their chances to get to the second position ahead of Manchester City but their defeat to Westham could get them the place and the ended up on the 4th position while after the Victory Westham ascended to 3rd place. This has been a great performance for Westham for a very long time.

Liverpool came in to the game with a lot of determination but their expectations was not met. though, Liverpool dominated the game but they couldn't utilise all their chances. Westham took the lead with Allison Becker own goal but before the end of the first half Alexander-Arnold put them back in the game as he levelled them up. The first half ended with 1-1 and they both prepare for the second half, it was an impressive performance for Westham so far.

In the second half Liverpool tried to seal their winning but all their chances was denied and it was so hard for them as Westham was so mindful and defensive. Westham scored the second goal in the 67 minutes by Fornals and they took the lead, more pressure mounted on Liverpool but Westham didn't lose their ground. Kurt Zouma scored another goal in the 74th minutes and Liverpool are down with 1-3, the second half still continues but later in the 83 Minutes Divock Origi scored a goal for Liverpool and the game ended with 2-3.
