Dzień świstaka, czyli kolejny dzień w pracy. Tym razem pracy było mniej, dlatego jeszcze bardziej potrzebowałem porządnej dawki adrenaliny w czasie przerwy. Co prawda mógłbym tak jak szef zmiany uciąć sobie krótką drzemkę, szczególnie że ja siedzę schowany w kącie, a on przyciął komara na oczach wszystkich. Wiadomo, "co wolno wojewodzie, to nie tobie...".

[ENG] Groundhog Day, or another day at work. There was less work this time, so I was even more in need of a decent dose of adrenaline during my break. Admittedly, I could, like the shift boss, take a short nap, especially as I was sitting tucked away in a corner while he clipped a mosquito in front of everyone. It is a well-known fact that ‘what is lawful for the governor is not lawful for you...’.

Ta sama trasa biegu co dzień wcześniej. Ponownie komfort biegania zakłócał silny wiatr, z którym musiałem się zmierzyć, biegnąc pod górkę. Nie wiem, czy wiatr był bardziej uciążliwy niż dzień wcześniej, czy ja byłem słabszy, ale odcinek pod górkę był jedynym w tempie powyżej 6 min/km. Po nawrocie moje tempo zdecydowanie się poprawiło, teraz wiatr mi pomagał zejść do tempa w okolicach 5:30 min/km. Pomagało też, że było tam lekko z górki, ale później nie było tak łatwo, a mimo tego przez ostatnie trzy kilometry utrzymałem tempo biegu na poziomie 5:30 min/km. Bardzo mnie to cieszy. Pod koniec ustanowiłem rekordy na kilometr i milę. Chyba są to najlepsze wyniki z ostatniego roku, bo moje życiówki sprzed kilku lat są dużo lepsze.

[ENG] The same running route as the day before. Again, the comfort of the run was disrupted by the strong wind I had to deal with while running uphill. I don't know if the wind was more oppressive than the day before or if I was weaker, but the uphill section was the only one at a pace above 6 min/km. After the turnaround my pace definitely improved, now the wind was helping me get down to a pace around 5:30 min/km. It also helped that there was a slight uphill section, but after that it wasn't so easy, and still I kept my running pace at 5:30 min/km for the last three kilometres. I was very happy with that. Towards the end I set records for the kilometre and the mile. I guess these are the best results of the last year, because my life records from a few years ago are much better.
