W ostatnim dniu starego roku po raz kolejny straciłem rachubę, który to raz w tym roku przepaliła się świetlówka w pralni. Przed południem poszliśmy z żoną na krótki spacer po bagietkę do wieczornego posiłku, a wracając zaszliśmy do Brico. Jakie było moje zdziwienie, że nie było żadnych standardowych świetlówek G13, tylko LED. Nie wiem, czy to kolejny wymysł brukselskich biurokratów w trosce o środowisko. W moim przypadku świetlówka LED nie zadziała, bo potrzebuje ona innego startera, ten, który jest w oprawie, jest zintegrowany i nie można go wymienić.

[ENG] On the last day of the old year, I once again lost count of how many times this year the fluorescent light in the laundry room burned out. Before noon, my wife and I went for a short walk to get a baguette for dinner, and on the way back we stopped at Brico. I was surprised to see that there were no standard G13 fluorescent tubes, only LEDs. I don't know if this is another invention by Brussels bureaucrats out of concern for the environment. In my case, the LED fluorescent light doesn't work because it needs a different starter, the one in the light is built in and can't be replaced.

Wyszedłem pobiegać ostatni raz w 2024 roku, ale w głowie ciągle mi siedziała ta niesprawna lampa. Do tego stopnia mnie to uwierało i nie chciałem zostawiać usterki na Nowy Rok, że wracając z biegu zaszedłem jeszcze raz do Brico i kupiłem nową oprawę ze świetlówkami LED. Po powrocie do domu wymieniłem ją i nie ma zaległości na Nowy Rok.

[ENG] I went jogging for the last time in 2024, but the faulty lamp was still on my mind. It bothered me so much, and I didn't want to leave the defect for the New Year, that I went back to Brico on my way home and bought a new light with LED fluorescent tubes. When I got home I replaced it and there was no problem for the New Year.

Wieczorem tradycji stało się zadość, przygotowałem swoje popisowe danie zapiekane bagietki z kozim serem.

[ENG] In the evening I followed tradition and prepared my signature dish of baked baguettes with goat cheese.
