Wczoraj rano zebrałem się, żeby trochę potruchtać. Nie zakładałem, że będę bił rekordy, ale chciałem sprawdzić, jak będę się czuł w trakcie biegu. Ostatnio różnie z tym było. Zacząłem spokojnie i wybrałem trasę, która jest stosunkowo płaska. Pierwsze dwa kilometry przebiegłem w równym tempie, bez zadyszki. Na trzecim kilometrze utrzymałem tempo, ale zdecydowanie za często spoglądałem na zegarek. Zdecydowałem wtedy, że na trzech kilometrach zakończę ten bieg. Pocieszające jest, że nie czułem takiego zmęczenia, jakie mi towarzyszyło w trakcie kilku ostatnich biegów. W związku z tym mam nadzieję na powrót do regularnego biegania, z czasem będę wydłużał dystans.

[ENG] Yesterday morning I went for a run. I wasn't expecting to break any records, but I wanted to see how I felt during the run. It's been different lately. I started calmly and chose a relatively flat course. I ran the first two kilometres at a steady pace, without any breathlessness. For the third kilometre I kept up the pace but looked at the watch too much. I then decided that I would finish the run at three kilometres. It's reassuring to know that I didn't feel the fatigue I've felt on the last few runs. However, I'm hoping to get back to regular running and increase the distance over time.

Po południu spakowaliśmy córkę i wywieźliśmy ją na stancję do Brukseli. Obecnie ma sesję na uniwersytecie i wpadła dosłownie na krótką wizytę do rodziców. Korzystając z tego, że byliśmy już w Brukseli, zrobiliśmy tam krótki spacer po mieście, przy okazji nabraliśmy ochoty na belgijskie gofry. Preferujemy z żoną gofry "naturel", czyli bez żadnych dodatków.

[ENG] In the afternoon we packed up our daughter and drove her to Brussels for a holiday. She is currently at university and was literally dropping in to us for a short visit. Taking advantage of the fact that we were already in Brussels, we took a short walk around the city and developed a taste for Belgian waffles. My wife and I prefer 'naturel' waffles, i.e. without any additives.

Hi bro, it's great to see you're getting back into running. Finding that balance between pushing yourself and enjoying the run is great. And a walk around Brussels sounds like a lovely way to spend the afternoon wow
