Wczoraj żona z córką zrobiły tour po kosmetyczkach i fryzjerkach, w nadziei, że one zrobią je na bóstwa. W mojej ocenie zostały oszukane, bo ja żadnych różnic nie zauważyłem, a kasa wydana. No, ale to subiektywne odczucie zwykłego mężczyzny. Czy ja się mogę na tym znać? Grunt, że ja miałem kilka godzin spokoju i mogłem ten czas spożytkować na długi spacer. Pogoda była depresyjna i nie chciało mi się biegać.

Wybrałem się do Ghlin, kolejnej dzielnicy Mons położonej na północy-zachód od centrum. Podobnie jak odwiedzone dzień wcześniej Jemappes, Ghlin do połowy lat 70. XX wieku również był samodzielnym miasteczkiem. Dominuje zabudowa jednorodzinna i gospodarstwa rolne. Tych ostatnich jest już coraz mniej.

Była to okazja do kolekcjonowania kilometrów w aplikacji wandrer.earth. Jak zwykle odkryłem kilka niedoskonałości, na przykład wzdłuż Chaussee de Mons są trzy ślady do odkrycia. Dwa z nich rozumie, bo są to dwie strony jezdni, ale ten trzeci pośrodku to jest zagadka. Żeby "zebrać" te kilometry musiałbym spacerować środkiem ruchliwej drogi. W innym przypadku ścieżka do odkrycia była przez gęste chaszcze i drut kolczasty. Może kiedyś tam była jakaś ścieżka, ale to na pewno było dawno temu.
