How's It Made?

Our workflow involves a multi-step process. We begin by feeding our statistical data and standout moments into the GPT-4 platform, effectively employing it as our sports writer. The resulting script is then input into a speech synthesis AI, which gives rise to our distinctive sports show personalities. These components are harmonized to generate a polished video presentation showcasing our weekly highlights.

The question of time investment often arises. If we exclude the substantial effort dedicated to curating highlights for every game, a task that generally spans over 10 hours, the overall production process typically ranges from 4 to 10 hours.

Creating the script with GPT-4 is a swift affair, taking less than an hour on average, often even less. Voice acting occupies a span of approximately 1 to 2 hours. Notably, the most time-consuming phase is video editing. This phase's duration is variable, influenced by factors such as video length and potential challenges related to app performance when dealing with numerous audio clips. On average, the editing process consumes around 3 to 6 hours.

In total, the comprehensive endeavor consumes roughly 16 to 20 hours, distributed across two days for each iteration of our highlight reel. Unless you possess a genuine love for the task, undertaking this venture may prove quite demanding.
