Excited for the Super Bowl LIX

Hello y'all. Sorry I could not update after my last post https://peakd.com/nfl/@brijwhiz/happy-new-year-and-nfl-playoffs. Personal stuff and all that. Back to the Super Bowl LIX now :)

Anyways coming back to NFL I loved both the championship matches. NFC championship was the surprising one for me, surprising to see how dominant Eagles were.
I mean I did feel Eagles might do better but I did not know what a generational talent Saquon Barkley is. That first play run touchdown by Barkley was awe inspiring. It was great to see Washington not give up, but by the second half it was clear that Eagles had the upper hand. Good run this season by rookie Commander's QB Jayden. I look forward to some explosive seasons from him in the future.

AFC championship turned out the be the nail biter that it promised to be. I was completely in the Chiefs corner, and was glad with the result. But boy were the Bills really strong.

Great job by Josh Allen and his team, especially the Defence. However I finally saw why Patrick Mahomes is loved by people who study the game. Boy, did he turn up when required. It was such a different game from the one they had with the Texans. It looked like they were able to bottle up Travis Kelce, and also push back on the line of scrimmage. It took me a moment to see that Travis getting bottled up meant less defenders on the others. And seeing the WRs fly must have been good to see for the Chiefs. Betting on the Chiefs is not great for my BP though. They seem to be playing like the Indian Cricket team this year. Never playing for total domination, keeping each game tight and us on our tenterhooks till the very last minute.

The way they are playing I do feel like the Chiefs should win the Super Bowl this year. I do want to be in a time when a team makes such a major historical milestone. However the industrious style of play that they have shown makes it an equal game on the day. Especially based on all the analysts who have pointed out that across the players on both teams the Eagles lead on paper in terms of sheer talent. So yes it is indeed 50-50. But I will still go for the Chiefs, with a very American reason for why --- intangibles :)

And considering Super Bowl is also one of the peaks of American entertainment, the half time show is another thing to look forward to. I loved Dr. Dre's one, and considering the success graph that Kendrick Lamar is on I am really looking forward to this one.

Hoping to enjoy Super Bowl to the fullest, without too much stress. Looking forward to a fantastic half time show by Kendrick Lamar, and a 3-peat for Andy Reid, Pat Mahomes & the Chiefs.
