Yep, Definitely a "Super" Weekend!

I have so much to unpack from this past weekend. It was a pretty amazing time. Every single team that I wanted to win did and when you consider all of that hope was spread across three sports, three days, and six different matches, that is no small feat!

It all started Friday night with senior night at my nieces basketball game. @mrsbozz and I were supposed to be down there cheering her on, but we had to take my niece to her volleyball tournament on Saturday, so we stayed home. It was okay though, from what we could hear, our niece had plenty of her friends there to cheer her on.

In fact, she had a career high game scoring twelve points. She went 5 for 6 on free throws too, which if you have seen her shoot a free through, you would know that is a good thing. You might think 12 points isn't very much for a career high, but if you have watched her play or have read my posts, you would know my niece is more of a defensive player and she is also an assist queen. She knows she isn't a shooter even though I think she could be, so the fact that she scored that many points is impressive.

Needless to say, they won the game and they have some good momentum behind them going into the playoffs. That's a three game winning streak they are on now.

Then on Saturday morning if you read my post from my @bozz account, we headed down state to take our other niece to her volleyball tournament. They dominated the whole day and swept every match they played. It was quite impressive. If you have never watched volleyball it's one of my favorite sports to watch. The rallys and saves are just amazing sometimes. Then add to that the redirects and trick plays and it's a lot more complex than you probably think.

Meanwhile, as we were finishing up the last volleyball match of the day, the Michigan State Spartans were trying to shake the dust off their two game losing streak as they faced Oregon at home. It was a tough game with State playing from behind most of the game, but they eventually kicked it into high gear at the end and put a pin in their recent slide.

I was flying high with the win for sure. I didn't get to watch the game, but @mrsbozz was letting me know the score as I was driving us home and when we did get home, I watched the key plays on YouTube TV.

Finally, we have the Superbowl. I was really worried this would be a close game decided by some crap call in KC's favor by the officials. I'm super glad that didn't happen and Philly left little room for doubt which team was the complete package. I would have liked to see some more explosive runs from Barkley, but KC did a quite good job of shutting him down.

Meanwhile the Eagles defense was all over Mahomes. I'm not sure he has been sacked that much all season. It was a beautiful thing to see!

I'll be digging into some of this stuff a bit more through the week. I hope you stick around to read about it!
