When will the Lions catch a break?

I apologize, I don't have a fancy picture for this post or actually any graphics at all. I am dealing with some major homeowner issues right now that I wouldn't wish on anyone. A flooded basement is not something I would wish upon anyone.

It's a fair assumption if you are a Lions fan that you have come to accept quite a bit of disappointment through the years. Much of it at the hands of the officials. In fact, if I had to guess, the score probably goes about 7893 wins to the officials and 0 to the Lions.

This same scenario took place last weekend when the Lions face off against the Kansas City Chiefs. Sure, they are one of the hottest teams in the league right now but the Lions gave them a run for their money and honestly they should have taken game if it had not been for the officials.

Taking away the touchdown that was clearly a touchdown is just another egregious error in a long line that have cost the Lions key games. Don't believe me? Go ahead and look it up. You will clearly see that there are countless instances where the officials have went out of their way to ensure the Lions come out on the losing end.

There is a good chance that touchdown could have given the Lions the boost they needed to finish the game stronger than they did. The fact that they came as close as they did is a testament to the will and skill that the Lions possess.

I really think this could be the year that we make it to the playoffs (unless the officials have their way).

Do you have a team that the ref's are clearly out to get? Can you think of countless instances where they were screwed over? I'd love to hear about it in the comments!
