Refs are Getting Ridiculous

It would appear that the NFL week 3 once again is full of controversy. Thankfully, this time it has nothing to do with my Detroit Lions. The Lions had a big win over Arizona after dropping their last game to Tampa Bay. They looked much better this week and I can't help but think they got too in their own heads last weekend. It also probably doesn't help that he refs were making a bunch of crap calls last weekend.

Speaking of refs and crap calls...

Once again, Kansas City was handed a win thanks to some absolutely horrible officiating. I have little doubt that Atlanta would have won the game if that pass interference call had been made at the end. A pass interference call that was 10x more obvious than the phantom one they made in favor of Kansas City the other weekend.

People are starting to take notice and those same people aren't happy about it. If the NFL wasn't to maintain some form of control, they need to start taking notice too. People are already calling for the commissioners head and I can't say as though I blame them.

After seeing Detroit be on the poopy end of the stick for so long, I think it is pretty much a given fact these days that the refs are on the take. They absolutely play favorites. Whether that is influenced by Vegas, the countless online gambling services, or something else, who knows.

Minnesota took down Houston 34 to 7 leaving them undefeated and one spot above Detroit in the NFC North standings. It happened last week, but we probably all saw the stunner when the Jets beat The Patriots. It will be interesting to see if this was just one last hurrah for Rogers or if he actually still has it.

The Giants beat the Browns, and Green Bay beat Tennessee. Chicago had a close game against Indy, but ultimately fell short 21 to 16. Philly also had a close game against New Orleans. I think this might have been the Saints first loss of the season.

I'm pretty happy to see the Chargers lost to Pittsburgh. I'm happy with any thing that Harbaugh guy touches failing!

Perhaps Tampa Bay just had a good week last week because this week they lost to Denver. Buffalo continues to look really good, but I think I am going to have to make some changes to my fantasy team.

I'm a bit shocked to see Washington beat Cincinnati, and Los Angeles beat San Francisco.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys had lot of hype this season for whatever reason, but they just continue to suck. I have a couple of their players on my fantasy team and I am not sure they are going to make it to next week!
