Bozz Family Fantasy Football Week 7 Recap: This always happens

Fantasy Football (1).png

I don't know why, but it feels like every time my wife and I play each other in fantasy football the worst possible outcome happens. That was definitely the case this time when we faced off.

With my wife sitting in first place, the last thing I wanted to do was hand her a loss this week, but that is exactly what happened.

I would have been more than happy to lose this week so she could keep her exceptional record. As it sits, she is still in first place, but our brother in law is right behind her with the same record as her now at 5-2.

As you can see from the final score, it was pretty one sided. It was just an unfortunate week all around for many of the football teams I guess. I'm pretty happy with my 3-4 record, but I only wish one of those wins hadn't come at the expense of my wife.

We actually almost forgot about some of the games due to us travelling, but once we settled in, we were able to manage out teams pretty well.

As you can see, my players had a really great weekend. Jackson and Baltimore had an awesome game against the Lions unfortunately. I'm pretty sad that happened, but happy for my fantasy team.

There was a horrible showing in my wide receiver corps. Getting less than 10 points per game is just not acceptable.

Pittman did great and Kamara at running back is starting to get back to his previous form.

I still have some weak spots in the running back area. I am hoping I can fix some of that up as well. Kelce had a monster game at tight end, but I am guessing that probably because of Taylor Swift. I kid of course, he has always been a great player.

Finally, my kicker and defense had a pretty good showing too. Unfortunately, my wife just put up some mediocre numbers. I really expect her to do better than that.

Unfortunately for @mrsbozz even if she would have played some of the players on her bench, she would have still lost to me. I am going to have to dig into Metcalf and see what is going on there. Zero points is just not acceptable.

Allegier seems to be doing a bit better that he was at the beginning of the season. I'd love to see some good production from him. Also, as we know, Goff just had a horrible game on Sunday.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the coming week is going to have in store. I need to get my roster up and see if I have any games playing tonight.

No betting post this week. I was in Vermont and I didn't think sports betting was legal there, so I didn't even try to place any bets.
