Bozz Family Fantasy Football Week 11 Recap: Don't call it a comeback
Just like that I am one game away from having a losing season. I didn't really feel like things were going to go this way a couple of weeks ago. Things started off really great at the beginning of the season, then things took a turn for the worse. I'm now on a two or three game winning streak and I am slowly clawing my way back up to the top of the league.
Unfortunately, @mrsbozz is not having the same kind of luck and she is slowing falling further down the ranks.
She isn't in last place, but she is sitting right below me at 9th place in our 12 team league. In fact, @mrsbozz has the same record as I do, so it might be one of those ships passing in the night sort of thing. I actually hope she can turn things around and we can start climbing the ranks together.
Her sister has risen to the top of the league and once again our other sister in law is sitting close to the top as well.
As you can see, it was a pretty good week for me. In fact, it was actually a kind of close contest going into Monday night. I had one player left to play and so did my opponent. The crazy thing was my last player was Kelce and my brother in laws last player was Mahomes. If both of them had a great game, it was going to be a really close match up between us. Thankfully, I came out on top.
Let's look at the breakdown!
Jackson had a pretty great game as far as I am concerned. I had thought about putting Goff in this week since they were playing the Bears, but given his performance, I am really glad I didn't. His late game heroics saved his stat line, but it still wasn't pretty at all.
Moore, Metcalf, and White also had pretty great games, I can't be mad at them at all. One person I can be mad about is Wilson. You are a professional player, how do you get -1 points? That's just ridiculous. It looks like maybe he is hurt, so that will likely have an impact on whether he is in my line up or not. The hard part is, there is a really short turnaround with games taking place tomorrow during the day.
Warren, and Kelce had decent games, but I'd like to see a bit more from Kelce. Warren was a god send for me honestly. Finally, Tucker and the Miami defense that I just picked up were quite solid. I might drop the Atlanta defense and just keep Miami.
As you can see, my bench would have been no help to me this week. I still might have won, but it wasn't the smart play at all. I dodged a bullet there for sure!
Like I said, we have a short week to get ready this week with Thanksgiving being tomorrow. The Lions have a big game against Green Bay, and my last two players have bye week right around the corner. I need The Lions to be ready for when I need to put Goff in at quarterback.
