My Actifit Report Card: May 24 2022

One of the few things that I truly miss from home is the annual Lilac Festival that is held at the beginning of May in Rochester, New York’s Highland Park. While I didn’t make it back in time for the festival itself, I was able to catch the tale end of the lilac bloom, which is something I’ve been dreaming of doing for over ten years now.

A slow walk around the park brought me up to and over 10,000 steps.

Lilacs are very sacred to me! We had a huge lilac bush in my childhood home that used to belong to my grandparents. I think the smell of lilacs is the most heavenly scent in existence!
