Steps, Sunsets & Father-Son Wisdom

Some walks are just exercise. Others? They’re something more.

Today, my youngest son and I took off on a longer trek—8km, 10,000 steps, and a whole lot of talking. There’s something about walking side by side that makes conversations flow easier. No distractions, no pressure, just open roads and open thoughts.

We covered everything from random facts to future dreams, with a few dad jokes thrown in for good measure (his eye-roll game is getting strong). And as the sun melted into the horizon, it hit me—these are the moments that matter. The steps add up, sure, but so do the small connections along the way.

A good sunset, a good chat, and a good walk. What more do you need?
