Three Walks, One Perfect Day

Today was one for the books! Three walks, a total of 12km, and almost 16K steps—who knew a simple “let’s go outside” could turn into a full-on nature adventure?

The first two were my usual 5K canal walks—nothing beats the calm water, crisp air, and the morning sun reflecting like a mirror. But the real magic? The third walk. The kids asked to go out again at sunset, and I couldn’t say no. We wandered around the forest lake, played with our shadows, finally got the drone up in the air (victory!), and just took in the stunning golden-hour sky.

Days like this remind me why I love walking—it’s not just about movement, but the little moments that make life richer. Who else is sneaking in those extra sunset strolls lately?
