10km, 14k Steps & A Weather Mood Swing
Some days, the weather can’t decide what mood it’s in. Today was one of those days—icy wind slapping my face one moment, golden sun peeking through the clouds the next. But the goal was set: two 5km walks, totaling 10km and 14k steps. No matter what Mother Nature threw at me, the only direction was forward.
There’s something about walking that clears the mind, even when the cold is trying to convince you to turn back. The canal, the trees, the reflections on the water—it all felt like a moody painting brought to life. Every step, every gust of wind, and every unexpected burst of sunlight was a reminder: consistency beats comfort.
Not every walk will be perfect, but every walk counts. Movement happened. Calories burned. And best of all, I proved to myself that no matter the conditions, I can still show up. Keep going, keep walking, and let the weather be just another part of the story.

Yeah, well, the weather... The next two months (March & April) are well known in Belgium for its... well... "female" weather ;-) It's also described as "four seasons in one day", it can literally snow in the morning and be 25 degrees in the afternoon, and storming in the evening...
