Through Mud and Wind: A 12km Triumph
When the weather forecast basically screams, “Stay indoors,” that’s when you know you’re in for an adventure. Today’s walk wasn’t the usual peaceful canal stroll, it was a battle against icy winds, dark skies, and trails that looked like they’d been borrowed from a Tough Mudder course.
Instead of turning back, I leaned in. The forest was beautiful in its own chaotic way, with wet leaves underfoot and puddles ready to swallow your boots whole. The lake was bursting at its seams, a stunning reminder of how wild nature can get after heavy rain.
Despite the conditions, I hit 12km and 17,000 steps, 1km further than yesterday. Progress might look messy (literally, in this case), but it’s always worth it. Some days are about the grind, and today, the mud and wind didn’t stand a chance.

Should start doing it that way as well in fact, first use Ecency to reply, then switch to Engage to see what was missed :-)
There is another Hive-dapp that does something similar to Engage, I think it is called postbox or something. But I haven't checked it out yet.
