Two Walks, Two Worlds: A Day in 14k Steps

Two walks in one day—sounds like a productivity hack, right? Well, that’s how it went today. I squeezed in a quick stroll during lunch, just as the sky was doing its best impression of a peaceful watercolor painting. You know the kind, with the kind of soft blues that make you feel like time’s slowing down just for a moment.

But, life got busy. Fast forward to post-sunset, when the second walk happened—this one under an entirely different mood. The sky had turned broody, a little dramatic, like it was gearing up for a scene in an indie movie. I’ll admit, I almost didn’t head out. Earlier sunsets and chilly air can make a good case for staying in. But there’s something about wrapping up the day with that evening energy. Plus, the health points don’t count themselves!

In total, clocked 14k steps and 11.5km today. Not bad, considering both walks felt like stepping into two different worlds. Whether it’s midday light or post-dusk shadow, there’s always time to move. And bonus: you might just catch a view worth remembering. #FallVibes #Steps

Nope, office day, one of two :-) Which means 9 hours of being stuck between 4 walls (1 hour of lunchtime, I sometimes try to use it for a walk, but a lot depends on the weather, and that is NOT good today), and 6 hours of traffic-struggling :-)
So very little time for walking (or anything else, like breathing) today and tomorrow…

Thanks!!! Yes, I was pretty happy that I was able to pull off two walks !INDEED :-) Pretty ok on the steppage as well… And yup, those photos… I did get wet during the lunch walk, and I did get home in the pitch dark during the second walk. But it sure did bring in some drama! :-D
