Chasing Sunbeams: A Rainy Day’s Reward
Today was one of those days where it felt like the rain had scheduled a meeting with my motivation. Between a busy office day and the downpour, I was wondering if I’d get any steps in at all. But just as I was about to call it a day, the sky cleared up—well, just enough to sneak in a walk.
The evening light was soft and golden, a perfect contrast to the earlier gloom. I laced up and hit the path, savoring every moment. There’s something incredibly peaceful about walking after the rain, when the world feels washed clean and the air is fresh.
I only had time for one walk, but I made it count—10,000 steps and 7.5 kilometers in the bag. Sometimes it’s not about how many times you get out there, but how you make the most of the time you have. Here’s to finding the light, even on the cloudiest days!
