Paradici's Appeal Today so Results will Finally Get Manager Search in Motion. Is Pochettino Still the Right Fit For the Job?
It has no been a great week to be a Spurs supporter with the loss to Bournemouth last week. Top 4 looks unlikely now with games in hand at the other clubs around us. With Newcastle , Liverpool and United in the next 8 days, there is not really any hope with our current managerial setup. Why keep Conte's number 2 is anyones guess. The crowd are shouting for Pochettino to take over but yet he has not been contacted yet by Tottenham. Tottenham's Director of football who is now banned from world football has his appeal today in Italy. He does not fancy Pochettino and wants to appoint either Nagelsmann or Luis Enrique as the new Spurs boss. Other members of the board do not fancy bringing Pochettino back wither after the last 5 weeks of his first tenure were said to be "difficult". So I would say alot of stuff went on behind the scenes before he was sacked. I heard something before that after the Champions League final, Poch did not come into the dressing room to see the players. Instead he left the stadium and went straight back to his Spanish home. Harry Kane and Loris had to stand in for their missing manager and pick the players up. Paradici never fancied Pochettino so this afternoon in Italy will have consequences on which direction Tottenham will go.
If the ruling stands then Paradici's role will be untenable and he will have to leave his position I would imagine. As well as that Tottenham have appointed a Chief Football Officer by the name of Scott Munn who was in charge of Melbourne and has previously worked with clubs in China. Paradici now has a boos that is not Daniel Levy so this will have implication as well around what direction the club is going. So today ,Wednesday 19th April will give a clearer picture of what is going to happen. If Paradici leaves then the door might open for Pochettino. Pochettino is not a fan of DOF's given his time in charge of PSG but he may be happy to work with a CFO by the name of Scott Munn. Who knows.

**Since Paradici's arrival he has been working on the organisational structure of the club from the recruitment to the scouting. He has even been working on the canteen and the team bus which is now wrapped in the Spurs colours. He is said to be a tough taskmaster and works every hour of the day. Agents end up waiting hours to meet with him as he is in his office on some animated phone call. Paradici is said to have made the structure in such a way that if he leaves then operations with carry on as normal. Appointments such as Gretar Steinsson as technical director work underneath him and they will take on his roles. The worry is that the organisational structure has changed dramatically from the Poch era that it is now hardly recognizable. We also have to look at the Poch formations in which he normally plays two at the back and plays full backs as opposed to wing backs.
Having 6 wing backs at the club may be a big problem if Poch comes in. Trying to get Emerson Royal cemented down as a wing back has been hard work. The signing of Pedro Porro in January also a problem. If Poch comes in then what do we do with all our wing backs. I am sure after a year this problem would be solved but it is not all plain sailing.
The wing back system has not worked at Spurs as our midfield gets swamped all the time and it makes the likes of Skipp and Hojbjerg look like bad players which they are not. The only player that has excelled in midfield was Bentancur and this is just because we have a Rolls Royce on our hands here. The Centre Half situation will be a problem as well as most of our back line are comfortable in a 3. If this changes to a 2 then their frailties will be even more pronounced than they actually are. Romero is a red card walking in every game. Dier and Davision Sanchez are not good enough. So there is this major problem as well. Then we come onto the attackers.
Our strongest position but Pochettino will want young hungry pressers. This is what Harry Kane is not. So selling Harry for 100 million may be bad business and a better strategy. Spurs fans are always giving out about the lack of leadership from the senior players. Roy Keane's one gripe with Kane is that he never digs players out. He is right in a way. Kane's successor is already at the club by the name of Richarlison. A young hungry Brazilian number 9. Would be great to see him in action under Poch with Sonny and Kulusevski coming in behind and a number 10 like Maddison dinking them in balls. Now this is a team that could play nice football. With a wealth of talent in midfield and some players on loan that would be more suited for the style of Pochettino. Harry Winks and Los Celso come to mind here but I believe their ship might have sailed.
Rumours have it that Tottenham are testing the waters on some younger hungrier managers and that the Poch ship may be too late as he is now an experienced manager. The Reims coach William Still has been contacted apparently. The other interesting thing about Still is that he doesn't have a coaching badge. Nothing , nada so Reims are paying the fine for every match he presides over which is around 20k a pop. They value him so highly that they are more than happy to pay the fine. But to go for this guy is a work of genius or madness in my opinion but who knows. We never heard of Wenger before he came to the premiership. Vincent Kompany has been looked at as well but it is expected he wants to stick with Burnley for another couple of years.

In other news the mob up the road are in the middle of bottling the Premier League. It is magical to see. Arteta is trying to get out the picnic stand with the little brain on it as we speak. Even the players are ignoring their mascots who are meeting their hero's. This video is terrible. Not one of the players acknowledged the little girl and spoke to her. Terrible club. Come support Tottenham. At least our shit players would have a chat with you.

Thinks have just spiraled out of control so quickly, basically the wheels came off big time. Sad for the fans as the players need to step up and cannot blame the club as they are meant to be professionals.
Draw aline under the season now and hope Arsenal bottle the League
I give Arsenal a 30% chance now as City will beat them next week. Brighton and Newcastle are not easy either. City could still mess one game up but highly unlikely.
