Fixtures Coming Thick and Fast For Spurs. Squad Updating Daily as Players Leave on Loan
I am so happy seeing midweek fixtures return especially the start of the Champions League Group Stages next week. Spurs drew a relatively easy group which you can see below. We have Marseille at home on the 7th September. I have my tickets booked to go to the Frankfurt game in October. I love mid week champions League fixtures and I have had some of the best nights ever in the pub watching Champions League football. I remember back when he Champions League final was on a Wednesday night and United and Chelsea went to penalties. The whole pub went mad. There were people hanging out of the ceiling celebrating Uniteds win. Fast forward to when Spurs were playing and my favourite matches ever. Spurs versus Man City and Spurs versus Ajax. I think at one stage I was bawling my eyes out. Those nights are great memories so hopefully I will have a few like that this year. Anyway where was I?

So Forest at the weekend. They weren't bad but Spurs weren't good either. Dean Henderson in goal was a livewire but they were not a real big threat. They only had a couple of shots on target and in the end we were too strong for them. Sonny was disappointing again. But I spotted something funny during the game. The other players were not really passing it to him. The average attacker had 52 touches in the first half. Sonny had 12. Now there were a couple of times where Sonny himself went for a goal rather than pass it to an in form Kane in which Harry gave him a shout. But I am seeing this alot lately. Sonny trying for the shot instead of a normal pass. It is because he is the golden boot winner and wants it again. Kane is competing with him for this accolade so are they rivals. Within the Spurs fan forums you have to be careful what you say about Sonny as he has a hard line following that think he can do no wrong. I am on the opposite opinion. I think he can do so much better. They were rumours that he was not well liked among the group and this was denied by many but I can see players being frustrated with him for not making the pass etc. The best players in the world are all a bit greedy but maybe he is ruffling a few feathers.
In recent years we would have kept Sonny on the pitch and the game would have petered out. But now Spurs have a squad. Conte hooked Sonny off. He was not happy. It was his best game but it still was not up to scratch. Richarison came on and immediately started throwing himself about. He actually got a heel to the testicles after 2 minutes of being on. He then set Kane up with a cross from the outside of his left foot.

He then went on to showboat a bit in front of the Forest fans and got creased up in the air which I found hilarious. When you have a shithouser at your club, you love him but everyone else hateshim. Even Jamie Carragher the co commentator was going mad. He didn't kill anybody lads, calm down. A Twitter spat erupted when Didi Hamann went mad over his showboating so himself and Neymar replied. Well funny that.

Anyway who better to start against West Ham tonight only the shithouser himself. West Ham hate Spurs. Spurs don't really care about West Ham as they are not in our league. But their season is made if they beat us so they will be gunning for us so what better way to send them packing but to send on the pigeon.
So after West Ham tonight we have Fulham on Saturday and then Marseille next Wednesday. Bentancur is said to have picked up a knock so we will finally see Bissouma start his first game for Spurs tomorrow night. Himself and Spence got games against Forest and they were gliding around so it will be interesting to see how he gets on against Declan Rice in midfield. Arguably the two best midfielders in the country last year. If there is anyone we will drop points to it will be West Ham as they have a grudge against us and will do anything to win but the good news is that they are shite at the moment.
On the transfer front. Ndombele started his life on loan in Napoli and scored a screamer on his debut. An absolute rocket. See below. We all know he is capable of such filthy goals but hopefully he will score more so Napoli purchase him and he is off our books.

Regulion got his move to Athletic Mardrid on loan with no option to buy. I will be sorry to see him go but he just couldn't finish his dinner.
Winks is in Italy as we speak with a loan move to Sampdoria. He will sign today.
Los Celso is gone to Vilareal and is already enjoying his time there.
Lucas Moura is being linked with a loan move to Galataseroy so we will see how this goes. He will not get a game this year so I reckon he should go.
Byran Gil is in advance talks with Valencia.
So there we have it. All the players Conte wanted gone are now gone (well, for 1 year)
With the wage bill cleared it is now time for Don Paratici to start cooking again and bring us in another wing back , a CB and a CAM. This is a perfect world. We have been linked with Carrasco , Dan James and Malinovski so let us see who we get in. Paratici sets up a plan B, C ,D and E so if the first transfer fails then he has another iron in the fire. Deadline day is looming so deals will start happening very soon. Conte has said that if he loses 1 player he will need a replacement so Paratici is under pressure. It will be interesting to see how the week unfolds.
